Hanging out with the fam over the holidays: How to survive and have a blast
Hiiiii it's Terri, owner of 173 Mercantile in Kennebunk, Maine. I'm here to talk about some tips for hanging out with your family over the holidays.
It can be a bit overwhelming, especially if you have a big family or if there's any drama going on. But don't worry, I'm here to help. Here are a few tips for hanging out with your family over the holidays and having a good time:
- Have a plan. Before the holidays even start, sit down and think about what you want to do and how much time you want to spend with each person. This will help you to avoid feeling overwhelmed and stressed.
- Set boundaries. It's important to set boundaries with your fam, especially during the holidays. Decide how much time you're willing to spend with them and what activities you're willing to do. It's also important to be honest with your fam about your needs. If you need some time alone, let them know.
- Take breaks. It's important to take breaks from your fam, especially if you're feeling overwhelmed. Go for a walk, read a book, or take a nap. Do something that will help you to relax and recharge.
